New Design
So I got bored yesterday and decided to do a new design. I love how it turned out! My husband actually helped me a little bit, by choosing the stamping design from 2 I showed Him, and choosing the stamping polish out of a selection of 4 I offered Him. I think He made some great choices! I just really wish I had a better camera and better lighting to show off the holo better. Sigh...one day. Everyone starts somewhere, right?
Of course I started with my base coat, which is Pro-FX Sticky Base Coat. I got it at Walmart. For the base color I used Color Club's Mood Changing Thermal Nail Polish in Total Meltdown...which is apparently no longer available, darn it. It is a stunning pink-to-purple changing matte polish. When it's warm, it's a vibrant fuchsia pink, and when cold is a gorgeous deep purple. Topping that is China Glaze's Fairy Dust holo top coat. It's a wonderful holo top coat, that while it packs a lot of holo into one coat, still doesn't overwhelm the color under it. For the stamping design I used Pueen's Love Elements #3 plate. Several great designs that you'll probably be seeing a lot of this month lol. The stamping polish is from Maniology (of course lol), and it's their Mirror, Mirror. A stunning smokey dark gray/black metallic polish that the camera just does NOT give justice to. As always, on top of the design, I used Maniology's Smudge Free Top Coat, and then topped it with my Salon Perfect Crystal Clear top coat. I always get my Salon Perfect stuff from Walmart. ReplyDeleteThat would work for lighting, when the sun is out. Sadly, my phone just doesn't take as good of pics as His does. But His phone was dead this morning when I took the pic...and it was like 3 am, so no sun lol
DeleteLove this design!!! Wish I could grow my nails out longer to do this!
