Layered Iris

Image
Hey everyone, it's me again! So I decided to try layered stamping for the first time, and while it didn't come out perfect, I still LOVE how it looks! Decided to go with some negative space...sorta. I have a holo top coat on it instead of just leaving them bare, and I also decided to use my multichrome polish that I haven't used in....FOREVER. The green to purple shift is PERFECT with the purple & white iris flower, and the aurora borealis rhinestones. All in all, I just really love how this design looks. Hope you all do too!! Purple Bows

Image
Hey everyone, it's me!  Bows, purple, bling, iridescent, and holo. What more does a girl need?  I LOVE how this design looks, and the picture just does NOT do it justice. I got some nail vinyls/stencils from the What's Up Nails store a few weeks ago, and decided to try the bows out today. And of COURSE I had to include some holo and some bling! I figured the iridescent shimmer from Maniology would be the perfect touch, and I was right! There's so much shimmer and color-shifting to this design that it's hard to know what point to focus on lol. I hope you all enjoy it as much as I do!! So I decided to try something new with my products used list...of course I'll have the list, but I'm going to put a picture before it showing everything first. Let me know what you think, and if I should continue doing it or not. Harry Potter Houses

Image
Hey everyone, it's me! So I ordered a set of 4 stamping plates from Beauty Bigbang off Amazon, and when I saw the plate with different plaid designs, I KNEW I absolutely had to do the house colors from Harry Potter. The Ravenclaw messed up a tiny bit, but I still absolutely LOVE how these turned out!! And of course I had to grab my Hermione's wand and Time Turner necklaces for the picture. The Hufflepuff yellow isn't quite as vibrant as I'd like, but what can you do? You work with what you've got. Btw, Ravenclaw for life here!! Hope you all like them! Women's Empowerment

Image
Hey everyone, it's me again! So...March is Women's Empowerment Month, and Maniology of course made a pair of plates to celebrate it! As a company who donates 10% of their Mani x Me proceeds to the YMCA of O'ahu, this plate set means a LOT to them...and to me as a woman. I ordered them as soon as I could, and they came yesterday. So as much as I enjoyed the daisies, I HAD to use these plates!! Combined with the plate I got from Born Pretty Store, I think this is an AMAZING design that I'm going to enjoy for a few days! Daisy, Daisy....

Image
Hey everyone! So I wanted to do something simple, but still spring-ish. I love daisies, they're definitely in my top 5 favorite flowers, and they're SO easy to do on nails with just a dotting tool! I love the contrast of the gray, and LOVE how they look matte. And of course I had to have some bling on there! The yellow rhinestones make the perfect centers for the little daisies, don't you think? Anyway, I think these are simply adorable! I hope they last for a few days...I don't really have a good track record with matte designs lol. Anti-St. Patrick's Day

Image
Hey everyone, it's me again! This post might be a little controversial, but it's part of who I am. So, St. Patrick's Day is in 2 days, and most people happily celebrate the man who "drove the snakes out of Ireland". I, and many other Pagans, do not. What many people don't know is...there were most likely never any snakes in Ireland!! The "snakes" that St. Patrick drove out were Pagans. He brought Christianity to Ireland. So, I "celebrate" that day with snakes, showing that I am a proud Pagan...who happens to have a lot of Irish ancestry. Negative Chevron

Image
Hey everyone! So it's getting close to St Patrick's Day. Figured I'd go ahead and toss some green on my nails. Don't worry, I'll have a different, better design for that day...if the vinyls I ordered get here in time, that is. I'm not sure gold was a good choice for the dots in the negative space, considering my golden olive skin tone, but...I still like them. And I need to get a bit better with my dotting skills. Practice makes perfect, right? Anyway, hope you like them! Products used: Seche Clear Base Coat from Amazon.com L.A. Colors Color Craze with Hardeners Timber from Walmart.com L.A. Birthday Girl!

Image
Hey everyone, it's me again! So my birthday is tomorrow (March 11), and I'll be 38 years old. I HAD to do a special mani for it! Since one of my nicknames is Princess (from the hubby), and it's in my nail account name, I had to do the rhinestone tiara, and pink & black are my FAVORITE colors. I didn't intend for it to be metallic, or glossy, but the only pastel pink I have just didn't look right as a base coat, so...I adapted. I was also going to do one nail totally glitter, but silly me used a regular base coat instead of peel off...oops lol. I still love how they look!! Hope you all enjoy, and have a wonderful day! Hey everyone, it's me again! Wow, only 4 days till my 38th birthday! So I got tired of the Northern Lights mani rather fast. I loved it, don't get me wrong. It just...only worked for a couple days. So, in the time between it and my birthday mani (I'll be doing that on the 10th, keep your eyes peeled!), I wanted something I would love to look at, so...of course, HOLO! And bling! I am absolutely in LOVE with this! Hope you like it! Northern Lights

Image
Hey everyone, it's me again! So we have a whole new round of Glam Nails Challenges. I skipped the first one for March, but this one was Northern Lights. Of course I had to use my Mani x Me stamping plate from January, with an array of Maniology stamping plates, and I just HAD to use my Northern Lights holo top coat!! It's hard to see in my light box, but in direct light it is GORGEOUS! Hope you all like it! Sunset Flight

Image
Hey everyone, it's me again! I love this stamping plate from Born Pretty so much! I had to use it again, and this time I used two images from it. I originally started off with a bronzish-gold color as the base, but that didn't work, so I went with a soft lilac. The bird was just BEGGING for a sunset behind it, so I used different colors to create it. Then (of course) I had to add some rhinestones to simulate stars/the moon/sun. All in all, I LOVE how this turned out! I think I'll be using this plate a LOT in the future! Hey everyone, it's me again! So after waiting a month, I FINALLY got my order from Born Pretty, and of course I had to use some of it RIGHT AWAY. I absolutely love butterflies, so I had to use them for this mani! I love how it turned out! My only problem is that I have such a massive C-curve that the butterflies won't lay flat on my index and pinky fingers, but...meh. They're HOLO!!! Hope you enjoy!!
